For many potcakes, the Abaco Shelter was more than a building—it was a lifeline. And when the storm blew through, countless dogs and people were left without a safe haven.
Today, much has been rebuilt, fueled by the deep-rooted strength and unity that island life inspires. Like the people of the Abacos, the potcakes endured. With tails still wagging, they carried on. And now, the Abaco Shelter is not just rebuilding—it’s expanding, with fundraising efforts underway to continue their vital work.
